Load up on the bug spray! But otherwise, loved the trail - nice elevation change.

Took an hour to go 6. Half of it was a blast, the other half was impossible for me to climb, just too technical with mainly large rocks. Even going down some of the rocky lines was no joke. Tons of really cool natural terrain. I could see an expert level rider enjoying the trail. You come up the back of Six Flags and can watch the screaming eagle roller coaster swoosh by.
The skill level required is above my pay grade. Love this trail but they need to improve their signs. This was a great trail. Clocked it at about 7. Our dog had a few ticks that we had to pull off of her. Overall, the trail was free from bugs and ticks. We covered ourselves in lots of bug spray. Great trail, easy to follow! We had a good day. Bugs are not bad.
Trail is challenging. Horse poop but no horses on the trail. Shady the whole trail. Pretty trail in good shape. Easy to follow orange oak leaf blazes once you get on it. No bugs to speak of. Six flags noise is really really loud on South end of trail. Just about anywhere else in metro area is more quiet.

Great trails overall. Started getting buggy as the morning went on but that is typical of Missouri this time of year. Its definitely longer than marked but still did it under the time indicated. Beautiful almost completely shaded trail. There are also a couple downed trees you have to climb over, but again, not too difficult. The only downside of this trail are that there are so many forks, it's easy to make a wrong turn. This was a fun yet challenging trail.
Perfect day for a hike. Not a lot of bugs, a couple horses and a couple mountain bikers. Surprising encountered more hikers than other people enjoying the trail. Lot of fun. Challenging switchbacks at the end of our hike today. Very hilly area. It seemed like I was going up hill most of the time. I couldn't find the beginning of the trail and had to take the road down to where the trail crosses Allenton. Not a bad trail 3 stars because of the hills and the trail is full of horse poop.
I think it's a really popular trail for horses. Trail is in very good condition considering the recent rain. There was only one small section of muddy trail about. A very beautiful, large park. It connects several trains and has all different terrains. I only gave it 4 stars just because it was one of the busiest parks I have ever been to in Missouri. I mainly did the bluff trail that is not in this app but you can use the gps for that trail on this map. And that trail is 2. Ticks were out already in full force!!!

Me and my dogs have never had so many. A good trail if you are looking for some decent hills. I only covered the first 10 miles of the trail 20 total miles.

In that time I only saw 4 people. The section thru Greensfelder allows bikes and horses. There is no way this trail is 6. We started at the trail head and followed every orange oak leaf trail marker and used an All Trails recording which shows this trail to be 8. I always encounter mountain bikers on the trail and horse poop. It goes right behind six flags so you will hear people screaming on the boss and hear the train whistle for a while but then you move far enough away.
There are no scenic vistas but it is still a pretty hike. There is a little creek with mossy rocks along the side in the valley around mile four where I always take a break.
